Consultation has concluded


The City of Mandurah has received an application for a mixed-use development at Lot 598 (No 40) Darwin Terrace, consisting of:

  • Grouped dwellings (five terraced “townhouses”);
  • Multiple dwellings (seven apartments);
  • Café / Restaurant (ground floor tenancy, 96m2 gross floor area);
  • Marina (extension of the existing marina consisting of an additional 41 private pens and 5 public pens);
  • Parking comprising of 22 residential bays, 3 residential visitor bays, 12 on-site café / marina bays, and an additional 15 on-street bays (22 on-street bays in total).

The estimated cost of development is $6.4m, the applicant has opted to have the application determined by a Development Assessment Panel rather than Council. The City of Mandurah assesses the application and provides a recommendation to the Development Assessment Panel.
